Managing Alerts via Subscriptions
You can create subscriptions in the Pia Config Watcher to Opt-In to receiving email notifications for only Alerts that are relevant for you. Subscriptions are created and managed using the "Manage Alerts" button are available in the System Alerts and the Client Alerts sections.
Creating a New Alert Subscription
An option called "Manage Alerts" is available in each table which when clicked will open a pop-up for Managing Health Alert Subscriptions.
Follow the 3-step process below to create a new subscription:
Step 1: Click on the "New Alert" button in the Manage Health Alert Subscription pop-up
Step 2: Fill in the following details:
Name: Give your Alert Subscription a meaningful name
Frequency: Select the alert frequency from available options
Recipients: Type an email and press enter to add the recipients of the email alerts. You can add multiple recipients.
Client Filter: Client Filter allows you to filter the clients whom you want to be alerted for
Rule Filter: Select a single or group of rules you want to get alerted for
Step 3: Save your Settings
Editing an Existing Alert Subscription
When an Alert Subscription is created, it will be displayed in the list within the Manage Health Alert Subscription pop-up. You can choose to do the following with an existing Alert Subscription:
- Turn ON/OFF the subscription using the toggle
- Edit the subscription by clicking on the Edit Icon beside each alert
- Delete the Alert by Clicking on the Delete button beside the Edit Icon
Muting Individual Alerts
You can mute both System Alerts and Client Alerts in the Config Watcher by clicking on the bell icon beside each rule.
- For System Alerts, the button gives you option to set the number of days to mute the alert for.
- For Client Alerts, the button gives you options to set the number of days to mute the alert for and whether to mute the alert for a single client or All clients.
